Allow Me to Introduce Myself ....

Hi! My name is Pamela Smith, but feel free to call me Pam.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, under the supervision of Brady Robinson, LPC-S. I have several years of experience and hold a B.B.S. in Business Management, M.A. in Criminal Justice from Dallas Baptist University, and M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

In addition I am a certified mediator in the state of Texas.

As a member of various national, state, and local counseling associations, I believe continuing education is vital in creating and maintaining a healthy mind. I am also very active in my community providing mental health awareness.

Originally from Chicago, I have resided in North Texas for the last two decades where I have enjoyed raising my beautiful family.

My goal is providing my clients with a safe & supportive environment while working as a team to help them obtain their individual goals. My holistic counseling approach is unprejudiced acceptance working together utilizing therapeutic techniques to customize a treatment plan that works for you. As a member of various national, state, and local counseling associations, I believe continuing education is vital in creating and maintaining a healthy mind. I am also very active in my community providing mental health awareness.

Who Are My Clients….

I enjoy working with very diverse individuals. This consists of adolescents, young and elder adults, couples, and families. I facilitate support groups for teen girls, couples and premarital counseling, relationship & break-up recovery, and therapy for colleagues. In addition I offer seminars  to education those with challenges which include negative self-imaging, holiday stress, parenting skills, and family struggles. For convenience, I offer weekend and tele-therapy appointments.
