Malorie Malone,
LPC-Associate
supervised by Dr. Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, CEDS
Hello!
I’m so glad you’re here. One of the most difficult parts of finding a therapist is finding a therapist that clicks with you. That’s part of the reason why I offer consultations prior to booking a full session with me! You and I both want to make sure that I’m someone that can help you in this walk of life that you’re currently in.
I believe that every person is going to go through seasons where they need someone to meet them where they are and allow them to be vulnerable about their needs. I want to be able to be that for all of my clients while also giving them tools for growth.
My Qualifications & Philosophies
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I love to learn, and I am always trying to better myself to better help my clients as well. I primarily work with teens/adolescents and young adults, but I also love working with kids and older adults as well.
What I commonly work with includes anxiety, depression, mood regulation, identity, family issues and more. I believe the client is the expert on themselves and this belief helps foster a strong therapeutic relationship and growth. I want you to lead the sessions while I use skills and tools to help facilitate growth and allow us to look at patterns of behavior, thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. I practice from a client-centered perspective but like to pull in techniques and beliefs from many modalities.
Therapy is different for everyone and should be flexible and adaptable while maintaining a safe, authentic environment.

As a therapist I try to be authentically myself. Which means I make an effort to be kind, honest and real in every session. I want my clients to feel comfortable and confident about themselves in my office.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, my friends and my two dogs. We try all sorts of things like pickleball, bowling, golf but I’m really just happy to be there with the ones I love and enjoy spending time with.

If Malorie cannot accept your insurance she is out of network and payment is due at time of service. You may request a superbill to file for out of network reimbursement, but insurance may not reimburse for this type of service. Payment is due at time of service and cash, check, or credit/debit card is accepted. Malorie can either accept cash or check or we will hold a credit card on file to charge following each session. Your card will remain secured. If you wish to pay by check please make checks out to Texoma Specialty Counseling. Malorie will place your cash or check aside to be applied to your bill.
If you are using your Out of Network Insurance (OON), please be aware that a diagnosis and possible chart documentation to your insurance company is required. Filing with your insurance does remove some confidentiality from your mental health records. There may be limits to your plan regarding diagnosis and treatment. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider to verify your OON benefit. You are responsible for the FULL FEE at the time of service. Texoma Specialty Counseling, PLLC provide you with a superbill receipt so you can file claims to your insurance company for* possible* reimbursement. Please note that insurance payment depends on your eligibility based on policy benefits. If you are interested in services that are not covered by your OON insurance, you will be responsible for the full fee at the time of services. Texoma Specialty Counseling, PLLC does not guarantee reimbursement of ONN benefit. All payments are due in full at the time of service. Please consult with your insurance provider to verify benefits prior to beginning counseling. Costs for services are the following:
Initial intake session: $125
Family therapy session: $135
Individual session: 50-minute: $110
Group Therapy: $20-40 (depending on group type)
Malorie has limited sliding scale availability and we do value offering accessible services. Please speak with her to help you arrange a payment option that works for your budget.
