Navigating Emotional Wellness: Join Our Adult DBT Skills Group!

DBT Therapy Group

Navigating the complexities of mental health can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. At Texoma Specialty Counseling & Wellness, our Adult DBT Skills Group offers a supportive space to learn powerful tools that help you manage emotions, build resilience, and foster deeper connections.

Why Join Our DBT Skills Group?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, build better relationships, and improve quality of life. It's especially beneficial for those struggling with:

  • Anxiety 😰

  • Depression 😞

  • Eating disorders 🍽️

  • Body image concerns 🪞

  • Trauma 🧩

  • Self-harm 🩹

Participants will develop practical skills in:

  • Mindfulness 🌼

  • Distress Tolerance 🌀

  • Emotion Regulation 🌊

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness 💬

These skills help you respond rather than react — bringing peace and clarity into everyday moments.

DBT & Trauma: Finding Your Way Back to You

Trauma can leave deep emotional wounds that manifest as reactivity, fear, or avoidance. DBT offers tools to safely process and manage emotions through present-focused practices and intentional behavior change. Through skill-building, you'll feel more empowered to respond to life’s stressors with confidence and self-trust.

Meet May, Our DBT & Trauma Specialist

Our group is led by May, a skilled and compassionate DBT therapist with experience supporting clients through trauma recovery and emotional regulation. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming — helping you build tools that last a lifetime.
